LONDON. FATV Exclusive (Part 1and Part 2): Sam Allardyce's first interview as England manager | FATV News. The Football Association has chosen the new head coach for its senior team. The choice has fallen on the experienced Sunderland FC manager Sam Allardyce whose vast coaching experience includes managing five Premier League clubs including the promotion of Bolton Wanderers FC into the major English football league.
You would say that The FA council has opted to step down from an international English manager like Roy Hodgson for someone who is a typical bold character and product of English football like Allardyce.
Sam however has international achievements as a club manager and this is his first international head coaching assignment. Will his in depth knowledge of the English player's character and psyche prove to be the winning formula to go into the international stage and grow together?
