Kendrick Lamar closed the last day of the Day N Vegas Festival in Las Vegas on Sunday (November 3), but some fans think he used a stuntman in his performance. Although Kendrick actually performed at the festival, the rapper appeared onstage in an all-black ensemble that included sunglasses and a cowboy hat, some fans thought he was an impostor and not the real Kung Fu Kenny.
“[I] think #DayNVegas gave us a fake Kendrick Lamar last night… it was such a weird performance. I've seen him 8 or 9 times, and that didn't look like him at all, ”tweeted a fan. Another person wrote: “What happened to this fake Kendrick Lamar on the show, wtf? There is no way to really be him. ”
But it was really him. According to Billboard, Compton's rapper performed a number of hits from his notable projects, including Damn. and GOOD Kid mAAd city, which is one of the longest-running rap albums on the Billboard 200 charts.
Despite being Kendrick Lamar on stage, it's not absurd for fans to suggest that he was a stuntman. Jeremih is one of the artists who appears to have done this in 2016. Apparently, the R&B singer hired a man to perform like him at a concert in Houston. The impostor wore a hood to disguise his face and performed on stage using playback. The music was so loud that the fans couldn't hear the impostor's vocals and he was moving so much that people soon suspected it wasn't the real Jeremih. The R&B singer later apologized for the incident.
